Il peut \u00eatre difficile de g\u00e9rer cela lorsqu\u2019on ajoute des rendez-vous chez le m\u00e9decin, des proc\u00e9dures m\u00e9dicales, des pouss\u00e9es et tout ce qui vient avec la SpA. Parfois, vous n\u2019avez qu\u2019une petite question \u00e0 leur poser et vous n\u2019avez pas le temps d\u2019appeler la r\u00e9ceptionniste et d\u2019attendre des heures. De nombreux m\u00e9decins travaillent avec des plates-formes qui vous permettent de leur envoyer des messages directement. Si vous avez un devoir le lendemain de votre IRM et que vous savez que vous ne finirez jamais \u00e0 temps, demandez une prolongation \u00e0 votre professeur. En \u00e9tant r\u00e9aliste quant \u00e0 vos engagements en mati\u00e8re de temps, vous vous pr\u00e9parez au succ\u00e8s. It can be difficult to manage this when adding doctor\u2019s appointments, medical procedures, flare ups and everything else that comes along with SpA to the mix. Below you will find some tips to help you manage your time.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\" _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>1.\u00a0<\/strong> Get a planner. Some like the good old-fashioned paper planner while others prefer using the calendars associated with their phone or email account, but either way this is essential. If you\u2019re using a paper planner, it may be beneficial to get one that has a monthly overview as well as a weekly one.\u00a0<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>2.\u00a0 <\/strong>Colour code. Mark everything that has to do with work in one colour, doctor\u2019s appointments in another and so on. It\u2019s also possible to do this with online calendars.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>3.\u00a0 <\/strong>Block out time for what is most important to you. If you need to stretch for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes before bed, block that time out of your schedule and make it a non-negotiable. Your well-being is imperative and should be a priority.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>4.\u00a0 <\/strong>Reduce stress levels through practicing regular stress-reducing activities (e.g. exercise, meditation, talking to friends, listening to music, etc.). Since SpA usually comes with chronic fatigue, healthy sleep patterns are important for optimizing productivity and efficiency throughout the day.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>6.\u00a0 <\/strong>Try clumping your appointments together during a period of time when you\u2019re less busy. By doing this you can avoid having to run to the doctor\u2019s during finals season or when you\u2019re facing a lot of deadlines at work.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>7.\u00a0 <\/strong>Try virtual appointments. If appointments take up a lot of your time, especially the commute, ask your physician if you can do virtual meetings when possible. That way you save the commute time and can have this appointment from anywhere.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>8.\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your HCPs if they work on the weekend or in the evening. If you have busy weeks with school or work, then weekend or evening appointments may be convenient for you.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>9.\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your HCPs if you can contact them directly via email or text. Sometimes you may just have a quick question for them and you don\u2019t have time to call the receptionist and wait on hold for what feels like hours. Many physicians work with platforms that allow you to directly message them so it\u2019s worth a shot to ask them if it\u2019s possible.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>10.\u00a0 <\/strong>Be realistic. If you have an infusion planned Monday morning and you know it knocks you out for the rest of the day, don\u2019t commit to girl\u2019s night out. If you have an assignment due the day after your MRI and you know you\u2019ll never finish on time, ask your professor for an extension. By being realistic about your time commitments, you set yourself up for success. If you plan too many things in one day it\u2019ll be impossible to check everything off the list which may cause you disappointment.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.17.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>11.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>If you find that you are struggling with your commitments & responsibilities, take time to take a step back and reflect upon what strategies work for you and which ones do not.
